Coombe Hill Golf Club

A lovely hilly course relatively close to London and just down the road from the Wimbledon All England Club.

Originally established by  local prominent Jewish businessman to cater for those who found it difficult to join other more traditional clubs, it has since had a number of eminent members, including Winston Churchill.  More recently, Jimmy Tarbuck a TV comedian of the 1970s has helped attract the likes of Danny Kaye and Sean Connery to the Club.
